‘I am the light of my Soul’

Pura Vida – Italy 2014

“Where to begin to thank Kim for the greatest gift of life she so freely gives? It is the gift of stretching towards and reaching growth – growth lived and felt by every fiber of one’s body, and which can then blossom in every other area of life, too. She so delightfully embodies that which she teaches, and this is the true essence of a teacher. Kim teaches by example, by skill, by energy, by love, by joy and so much more, including realness. Her eyes are wells of playful generosity. Her words – and her silence – are also rich in meaning. Her youth belies her wisdom, which is profound and yet, or therefore, simple and pure.
Kim has inspired me to embark on a journey that is already proving to be a turning point in my life. I am emerging from our 4/5-day retreat with a sense of amazing richness and overwhelming power and beauty. I will forever resonate with what I have learned from Kim and our retreat in Gavorrano, Italy.
With the deepest and purest gratitude and love,

Scott (from Hannover, Germany)

P.S. Kimi is also such a blast (and a mind-blowing singer)!”

Beautiful individuals joined us in a picturesque little Tuscan village to consume four days of relaxing, detox, Yoga, energetic food and wonderful conversations.

Giovanni Jaerisch Gruosi opened up his native home in Tuscany were we hosted a retreat that gave everyone the space and opportunity to treat himself to some active relaxation.

Daily yoga classes with Kimberley Nutbey were given, so that everyone could start each day fresh and bring their bodies into balance.

We cooked energetic vegan food and shared our meals together around the big table while watching the sunset and the moon rise. The mornings were clear and allowed us an amazing view with mountains, ocean and the tuscan village on top of the hill. These were magical moments of our day.

During the day we went for walks in the wonderful Tuscan hills, we roamed through the tiny village and sunbathed at the sea. Each day was given a theme such as ‘detox’ and ‘playfulness’. Yoga classes and connecting exercises always complemented the theme and the current mood of the individuals. This also made space for a lot of musical interaction like playing the guitar and singing together and specific personal growth.

In the evening we had time to for a gentle yoga flow, meditation, enjoying the sundown or just be as we chose to be. Alone or in company.

Kimi and Giovanni met in 2013 during their joint three-month stay in a Buddhist Temple in Manila. What they have learned on their path so far they brought to the retreat.

Location: The village of Gavorrano is located about 100km south of Florence in the Maremma province of Tuscany. Perched on a hill the little settlement traces its origins back to the 7th Century BC and has a rich history ranging from medieval times to today. The surrounding hills offer great hiking opportunities, nearby lakes and the sea offer wonderful places to relax and connect with nature. Wake up every morning to see the Gulf of Follonica and the island of Elba on the horizon and enjoy the view of the setting sun over the sea while relaxing on the terrace.
